Getting out of insecure employment means getting effective support to help people build their social future. Precariousness affects people who are unemployed as well as those who have a job. The source of this insecurity can be an insufficient salary, an accumulation of debts, a fragile or non-existent social integration, or a complex family situation. Break Solidaire helps people in urgent situations and assists them to regain a balanced life. This support includes assistance with the often complex French administrative formalities and learning how to manage a budget. Break Solidaire calls on the services of professionals, which entails costs for the association. For example, a consultation with a social worker costs a minimum of €50/hour, and a consultation with a lawyer a minimum of €150/hour.

Break Solidaire identifies individuals and families in precarious situations with the help of social workers and associations facing a surplus of requests for support.
Break Solidaire draws up a list of beneficiaries to support so that they can get on with their lives
Break Solidaire regularly monitors beneficiaries and provides them with the support they need to improve their situation
Break Solidaire calls on the services of professionals when the field of action does not fall within its remit

Break Solidaire identifies the sources of the beneficiary's situation
If the beneficiary is in debt, Break Solidaire works with them to find ways of getting out of debt
Break Solidaire helps the beneficiary to complete the administrative and social procedures required to benefit from state aid depending on their situation
Break Solidaire teaches people how to manage their money so that they don't end up in debt
Break Solidaire helps people to reintegrate into society and find a job

DONATE TO GET OUT OF POVERTY

When you make a donation to a Break Solidaire project, your donation is used solely for the project you wish to fund. The association takes 10% of your donation to cover administration costs. So 90% of your donation goes directly to the beneficiaries.

Good to know, Break Solidaire is an association of general interest, so 100% of your donation can be tax deductible up to 66% if you are an individual and 60% if you are a company. Break Solidaire issues a tax receipt for each of your donations.
